Each Pipercross Induction kit is an air intake system designed specifically for your car. Every Air Filter has had extensive research, development and testing carried out to ensure that the airfilter performs well, looks fantastic and comes with very detailed installation instructions that contributes towards a simple fit.
The base of the Induction kits and Viper kits has an outer diameter of 150mm which creates a laminar air flow to keep air turbulence to a minimum. Turbulence causes drag which slows the airflow down and limits the flow rate of any induction system. Other induction kits on the market that dont have a full radius edge creates turbulence, which causes the performance of the filter to be less effective..
Pipercross induction kits are made from a specially developed polyurethane foam which acts as the filtration unit, having both higher performance and life expectancy than standard air filters. The special foam used by Pipercross is created by a chemical reaction, it is placed in a gas filled combustion chamber where a controlled explosion burns away any complete cell walls in the material to form a strictly quality controlled skeletal cellular structure.
