GReddy Turbo Timer
For turbocharged cars - allows the car to idle for
a set period in order for the turbo to cool down properly - with the
ignition key removed. This allows the engine oil and turbo bearings to cool
down and prevent internal turbo damage. The new GReddy turbo timer packs
tons of features in one economical, compact unit. In addition to the two
standard programmable count downs, the timer also has two auto timer modes.
These estimate the driving RPM according to the vehicles alternator signal
and then recommends a suitable count down time.It also includes a
stopwatch/lap timer and attack mode. There is also a built in voltmeter and
speedometer, optional parking brake and speedo safety hook ups. Available in
black or silver.
Please note: May not be compatible with some security
systems - some ignition keys contain a chip and when removed from the
ignition will trip the immobiliser and thus override the turbo timer.
